This drum has a distinct personality. It gets a rating of "slightly more challenging" because it's not a widely-familiar scale and not as "cheerful" as a major scale. However, as with all Manastone steel tongue drums, all the notes are in scale. That means it's in perfect harmony with itself, so it's easy to make it sound good.
This scale has minor chords within it, so it gives a feeling of mystery, excitement, and open-endedness. You may recognize this scale from Flamenco music or dance. It will conjure feelings of passion, expressiveness, and images of swirling gypsy dancers and good wine.

Drums made of tone tempered steel and sealed with a powder coat finish that is very tough, UV resistant, weather resistant and doesn’t pollute the environment or outgas like other paints.
